The neon girl. The pageant girl. The immigrant. The volunteer. The girl who takes on way too much.

These are amongst the few labels I carry with me everywhere I go. Quite frankly, it’s a little tough to escape some of these labels once you’ve built your brand, shared too much on social media about one specific thing and worry too much about what others think.

But have no fear for blogging is here (too cheesy)?

After combating my identity crisis caused by living four hours away from home, college, pageants and having too many passions, I’m here to finally share with the world who I really am, what I stand for and what God is calling me to do. I’m excited for all of you to join me on my life’s adventure.

I hope to inspire and to encourage. I hope to provide solace to those who may be struggling. I hope to tell you that you are wonderful just the way you are, despite the pressure society puts on you to be “perfect.” But most importantly, I hope to make you laugh!

Thanks to my awesome mom for finally talking me into starting a blog so I can stop talking people’s ears off and stop sounding like a broken record when sharing my stories and allow all of you to read in peace.

Here, you can never eat too much pizza, fashion rules don’t exist, you travel to funky places and eat their funky foods, and you live your life the way you want to – it’s yours after all.
